Norse Explorer Group is a group of people who enjoy overlanding, being outdoors and exploring new places together. We like gravel roads, mountains and forests, whether we're away for a weekend or on a longer journey.

For us, making camp, cooking a meal and sitting around the fire are just as much a part of the trip as the driving.

We have different backgrounds and interests, and we share what we know and help each other along the way. You don't need to know everything before you start. Curiosity, a willingness to learn and respect for nature and each other go a long way.

Camp – More Than a Place to Sleep

For us, making camp is part of the trip. When the driving is done, we take time to cook, sit around the fire and talk about the day.

Sometimes we plan where to stop, other times we find a place along the way. Tent, rooftop tent or hammock — we all have our preferences. What matters is enjoying the outdoors and the company.

4x4 – Built for the Journey

Our 4x4s take us along gravel roads, through forests and over mountain passes. Some are set up for longer expeditions, while others are kept simple. We all have different needs and ideas about what works.

We share advice on vehicles, equipment, navigation and camp setups. By using what we have and helping each other along the way, we learn what works and what needs changing.

For us, the vehicle is a way to get out, explore and enjoy the trip together.
